The short version

Twenty years building, from a government-school start

I grew up in a Tamil-medium government school: grounded, no airs, substance over polish. Over nearly two decades I worked across enterprise IT and BI consulting, and led as a Senior Director at JLL India in commercial real estate. That domain still shapes how I think about markets, people, and the problems worth solving.

Today I'm a serial, self-funded founder (no VC, no debt) and still hands-on in the work: data architecture, product design, the API seams. I think in products and people first, and the tools second.

Data engineer & architect at heart

I never stopped building. Two decades in, I'm still in the data: designing cloud data platforms, modelling warehouses, writing SQL, and turning messy enterprise data into decisions leaders can trust. Most of my consulting work runs through Arus's data-engineering practice, serving enterprise clients across real estate, transit, banking, and logistics.

Why I build

Carried by others, indebted to give forward

My life has been carried by help from people I knew and people I never met: an HR director who gave me my first job despite missing documents, friends who funded my first product on trust, strangers who helped me stand back up after the 2014 election. None of it came with expectation. That leaves you grounded, and it leaves you indebted, not to repay, but to give forward.

The civic thread runs through everything: a 2014 run for MP in Dindigul on an anti-corruption ticket, and today as a volunteer with We The Leaders. The goal has never been to be the leader: it's to build the infrastructure that makes honest grassroots leaders visible.

The Journey of Elan

I speak about the journey: from a small-town start to building a company and a movement, and the giving ethos underneath it all. I'm taking this talk across Tamil Nadu (college functions and public forums) with a goal of one day giving it on the TED stage.
